M.I.A. Files

Several folks have asked about the files that inevitably disappear from one
SNIPPETS release to the next.  Some have gone so far as to suggest I include
a brief rationale within SNIPPETS.NDX why each deleted entry (marked with a
'-' in the first column) was dropped.  This would be impractical since
SNIPPETS.NDX is more than a simple index - it also acts as the control file
for SNIPDIFF.

This file is therefore a separate list of all the files deleted from SNIPPETS
since the last release along with the reason they were removed:

Ansisys.C         : Redundent with ANSILOAD.C
Bitops.C          : Now BITOPS.H
Calsupp.C         : Redundent with SCALDATE.C, TODAY.C
Cant.C            : Merged into FERRORF.C
Clock.C           : Broken, removed for rework
Coldboot.Asm      : Replaced by REBOOT.ASM
Commconv.C        : Broken, removed for rework
Comments.Cpp      : Only useful for COMMCONV.C - see above
Crypt.C           : Removed for legal reasons
Dd_Struc.H        : Now in DIRPORT.H
Defines.H         : Renamed LL_DEFS.H
Dosfuncs.Txt      : Information now included in SNIPPETS.NDX
Format.C          : Renamed DOSFRMAT.C
Fsize.C           : Questionable
Getkey.C          : Redundent with EXT_KEYS.C
Getseg.C          : Now GETSEG.H
Hi-Crypt.C        : Removed for legal reasons
Kb_Data.C         : Now KB_DATA.H
Lbitops.C         : Now part of BITOPS.H
Lsary.C           : Replaced by FILELIST.C
Msc_Peek.C        : Replaced by PCHWIO.C
Nonmsdos.Txt      : Information now included in SNIPPETS.NDX
Os_Id.H           : Now part of SNPDOSYS.H
Patmat.C          : Replaced by XSTRCMP.C
Pcnvrt.C          : Now PCNVRT.H
Pluraltx.C        : Now part of SNIP_STR.H
Portable.H        : Replaced by DIRPORT.H, EXTKWORD.H, and PCHWIO.H
Ptr_Help.Txt      : Now PTRTUTOR.TXT
Reboot.C          : Replaced by REBOOT.ASM
Redir.C           : Replaced by REDIRECT.C
Remcnvrt.C        : Broken, removed for rework
Rfind1st.C        : Obsolete - see DIRPORT.H
Rndmize.C         : Redundent code snippet - see BC_RAND.H
Tp6Tod.C          : Replaced by DTOTP6.C
Truename.C        : Renamed TRUNAME.C
